Improving School Policies and Settings to Increase Physical Activity

In late March, ALR partnered with PlayWorks, an organization that helps all schools use recess as an opportunity to enhance school climate through fun, comprehensive workshops, to host a webinar. The webinar, titled Improving School Policies and Settings to Increase Physical Activity, shared strategies that get kids more active throughout the school day.

To accompany the webinar, I was a guest blogger for PlayWorks. My blog post helped promote the webinar and also featured key findings from a recent ALR research brief, Increasing Physical Activity through Recess. You can read my guest blog here.
