Middle School Sport Policies and Facilities Research Translation
The purpose of this project was to supplement two other ALR grants that studied the impact of middle school extracurricular sport policies on sport participation and the impact of middle school policies for joint facility use and access on the use and type of physical activity programs offered at the schools. This Research Translation project focused on increased dissemination of the grants' results by repackaging the findings and recommendations to inform professional and non-professional audiences. Deliverables included a website, policy briefs and fact sheets, tool kit for middle school intramurals, webinars, professional development workshops, and presentations to promote the translation of research to policy.
