The primary objective of this study was to develop and finalize a scoring system for the Rural Active Living Assessment (RALA) tool components to help practitioners compute an overall activity-friendliness score for each of the tool parts. The project also tested for reliability and validity of the RALA tool components. After testing, researchers debriefed community members regarding their experiences using the tools, scoring system, and codebook to assess the RALA tools' usefulness in helping communities identify and prioritize steps to make their community more activity-friendly.
