This project is studying a wide range of United States communities and their experiences in adopting and implementing land use policies that support active living. A survey of communities with best practices that support active living and developer and lender interviews will be used to collect data. A national advisory committee will provide guidance on research design and interpretation of results. The project seeks to develop an understanding of how to promote reformation of standard US land development policies.
