Translation of Evidence-Based Physical Education in Elementary Schools
The purpose of this project was to supplement another ALR grant that assessed the facilitators and obstacles to elementary school adoption of evidence-based physical education (PE). This Research Translation project focused on increased dissemination of the grant results by identifying strategic translation and dissemination tactics that target principals, PE teachers, district superintendents/district PE coordinators, school board members and members of Parent-Teacher Associations. Deliverables included YouTube videos, article publication, and presentations to disseminate research findings and promote the translation of research to policy.
