The main objective of this project was to develop a tool that will enable diverse stakeholders to quickly and reliability audit community parks for their potential to promote youth physical activity. Researchers reviewed existing park audit tools, receiveed community input through planning workshops with community stakeholders, developed the new park audit tool, and then tested reliability in 66 parks within the Kansas City, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department system.
